Tina & Dre

Tina & Dre are sisters and co-founders of The Good Life studio; built from their shared passion for health, movement, and mindful living. United by their commitment to wellness, they created a space that feels welcoming, inclusive, and energizing—rooted in practices they truly love. Both sisters are vegan and believe in caring for the body with intention, compassion, and balance.

Tina is a Pilates instructor trained through Balanced Body, blending the precision of classical Pilates with the creativity of contemporary movement. Her classes are thoughtfully designed to build strength, improve mobility, and support long-term body awareness.

Dre is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor with an additional foam rolling certification. She teaches chair yoga, foam rolling, and puppy yoga, offering accessible and playful ways for students to move, release tension, and reconnect with their bodies.

Outside the studio, Tina and Dre are just as close—often going out to dinner together and traveling side by side on vacations. Their strong sister bond and shared values are at the heart of the studio, shaping a community that feels like home

Melissa

Melissa Wojcik is a 500hr certified teacher that believes yoga is a practice that can be made available to anyone.   

She believes yoga is a conversation with the body with the give and take of your needs at that moment so she works to incorporate breathing and meditation into each movement.  Melissa teaches restorative, vinyasa, chair and rope wall yoga.  She has been practicing yoga for over 13 years and has been teaching yoga since 2020.

Jasmine

200 Hour Yoga Certification

Jasmine Swami is a registered yoga teacher with specialized training from the American Yoga Academy, where she studied under the expert guidance of Claire Diab. She has experience teaching restorative yoga, hot yoga, and Vinyasa flow. Jasmine creates balanced classes that promote physical strength, mental clarity and overall well-being.

Passionate about the power of pranayama (breathing techniques) Jasmine incorporates mindful practices designed to reduce stress and cultivate a deeper connection to the mind and body. Whether leading a calming session or an invigorating flow, Jasmine focuses on building strength, both physically and mentally, to help students navigate life with resilience and peace.

Thersea

Pilates certified

Theresa took her first Pilates class over 20 years ago. After two years of private lessons, she became an instructor to share her love for Pilates. She is certified in beginner, intermediate, and advanced mat through Power Pilates; as well as Full Circle Beginner Reformer System.

Theresa has extensive experiecing coaching students of all ages- ranging from children to seniors. She also works with athletes and figure skaters to enhance movement through pilates. Her teaching focuses on improving core strength, stability, posture, breath control , and flexibility.

Thersea is dedicated to helping every student build confiedence, achieve their goals, and find joy in their pilates journey.

Chelsea

Zumba certified

Chelsea is a Zumba-certified dancing dynamo and fitness enthusiast! If you want a fun-filled, heart-pounding dance fitness experience, Chelsea would be the ideal instructor for you. With a boundless love for music, an infectious energy, and a passion for movement, Chelsea knows how to create an exhilarating atmosphere in her classes.

With a ballroom dance background, Chelsea offers a unique blend of international dance styles, cardio, and strength training, all set to an eclectic playlist that will keep you moving and grooving. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a beginner taking your first steps, Chelsea ensures everyone feels the rhythm and experiences the joy of movement. Beyond the studio, Chelsea is a product development assistant, wife, and mother of two. She is a motivator, friend, and wellness advocate who encourages everyone to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle full of dance.

Chrissy

RYT200 Yoga Instructor, Barre Certified Instructor, additional certifications include: Chair Yoga, Yin Yoga, Kids Yoga, Reiki 2, Pilates, SUP Yoga and Ayurveda Consultant.

Always looking to add some fun, Chrissy blends her knowledge into each and every one of her classes so her students get the most they can every time. She is a firm believer it is a work in as well as a workout to make your health a lifestyle as opposed to a passing fad until the next one. She sees yoga as a compliment to that in order to maintain your mind/body connection to grow and make life better. She is constantly learning to blend more of her unique style into classes to create ways to take yoga off of the mat and into daily life.

Balanced Body Pilates Certified

Shelsey's love for group fitness started from a very young age while accompanying her mother to aerobics classes. Fast forward years later at Cornell she underwent a group fitness apprenticeship through NASM and started out teaching her own HIIT classes. Her interest in pilates grew during the 2020 lockdown as she furthered her own personal practice and has only continued to grow since. Shelsey is certified through the American Council on Exercise, has completed all Mat Pilates training through Balanced Body, and is currently pursuing a comprehensive certification to teach all apparatuses including the springboard, cadillac, chair, reformer, barrels and trapeze. Shelsey is currently teaching Mat pilates, Functional HIIT, HIITlates, and will soon be teaching springboard classes in the spring. Having worked closely with physical therapists, she is very conscious of the importance of proper movement mechanics and the need for more preventative exercises for activities of daily living.

Danielle

Barre

Danielle's journey in fitness began as a competitive gymnast, where discipline, strength, and dedication became second nature. Over the years, her love for movement evolved from doing and coaching gymnastics to exploring yoga, pilates, cycling, and barre. Danielle became passionate about the challenge and reward, both physically and mentally, that came from these practices in such a positive environment that it led her to want to share with others. Whether you're a beginner or looking to deepen your fitness practice, Danielle is here to motivate and inspire you to show up for yourself and build a lifestyle that feels sustainable and empowering.

Carly

Barre certified

Carly’s fitness journey with dance began at the age of two, a time when she first discovered the joy that movement could bring. Her passion only grew stronger over the years, blossoming into an unyielding love that she eagerly shared with others. Carly eventually took on the role of a mentor, guiding younger students at her dance studio and igniting their own sparks of inspiration. Her dedication to dance was not just a pastime but a calling, one that she continued to heed as she ventured into the world of barre and fitness. Carly wanted to continue her passion and love for dance, expanding on it through barre and fitness classes. Barre focuses on a full body workout, strength, balance, core control, and flexibility. Carly’s goal is to pass on her ballet and barre experience to others who are interested or are looking for a new way to reach their fitness goals.

Alex

KickBoxing

Alex is a black belt in Jiu Jitsu under 3rd degree Renzo Gracie black belt Jamie Cruz. He trained in American Freestyle Kickboxing under champion Reggie “The Snake” Goode. He also trained Olympic style boxing under hall of fame coach Ed Leahy. Alex has extensive teaching experience. He taught special education in the Paterson Public school district for 11 years.
